Climb on aboard for a high tech adventure as you come ashore on Pirate Island. A treasure map will help you to program your robot to find the Pirates' Gold. On the island you will have to build many LEGO creations to assist you on your great adventure. Fun times and role playing abound on this journey planned especially for this age group.

TEAM TROPHY TOUR July 5 - 9 5 day camp, 9:00 to 3:00 Grades 3-4-5 You will become part of an engineering and programming team that will design an autonomous robot to conquer multiple missions on a challenge field. This is a fast paced learning experience that is fun and exciting. Teams will battle for trophies and awards at the Fast and Furious Friday afternoon Tournament.

PLANET X - DEEP SPACE TERRAFORMERS July 12 – 16 5 day camp, 9:00 to 3:00 Grades 6-7-8 You are about to embark on a mission that will stagger your human minds! Be a part of a robotics team to design, build and program a Lego robot to "terraform" planets of the deep space frontier through the outer reaches of the Criterion Belt. Your mission is to make these planets habitable so colonies of space explorers can live there. This is NIDA's advanced robotics course using LEGO Mindstorms. However, you do not need programming experience to attend this camp.

TETRIX ROBOT CHALLENGE July 19 - 23 5 day camp, 9:00 - 3:00 Grades 6-12 In this camp we will build real metal robots using the Tetrix construction system. Participants will program their robots and use remote controls to conquer this year’s challenge. Four robots at a time will enter the competition ring to see which one can score the most points. Emphasis will be on both building and programming robots using specialized programming language. No previous robot experience needed, just a desire to learn
